Μια νέα πρωτοβουλία πολιτών  έχει ήδη συσταθεί, με γνώμονα την εθελοντική παροχή ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης στους πληγέντες.
Η PSY for ATTIKI, αποτελεί μία αυτοοργανωμένη πρωτοβουλία πολιτών που δημιουργήθηκε μετά τις πυρκαγιές που έλαβαν χώρα στην Ανατολική και Δυτική Αττική την 23η Ιουλίου 2018. Στηρίζεται στην πίστη γύρω από την σημαντικότητα της ψυχικής υγείας.

IOM through the Project «Safeguarding children at Greek border points (MERIMNA)» targets migrants and refugees residing in Reception and Identification Centres (RICs) and in the mainland, with particular focus on children and especially Unaccompanied Migrant Children (UMC) aiming to address the immediate need to improve living conditions and protection gaps.

IOM through the Project "Supporting the Greek Authorities in Managing the National Reception System for Asylum Seekers and Vulnerable Migrants (SMS)" coordinates the management and operation of Safe Zones for unaccompanied children across mainland Greece in collaboration with relevant Authorities and Stakeholders.

Safe Zones operate on a 24/7 basis by multidisciplinary teams ensuring the provision of food and non-food items, specialized psychosocial support and legal assistance, non-formal educational and recreational activities, community engagement and interpretation.
